Our values

Our guiding principles

Quality berries

Backed by decades of experience, we guarantee the quality of our fruit. If you’re ever unsatisfied with a pre-packed container of berries, we encourage you to bring them in so we can rectify your purchase.

Your experience

We aim to consistently deliver an unforgettable experience for all ages. Our farm is your space to enjoy. We listen to feedback and take suggestions onboard, growing each year with the customer's experience front of mind.

Growth

We believe that everyone should know where their fruit comes from and are passionate about sharing the joys of horticulture, especially for the young.

Whatawhata Berry Farm was created years after our families first endeavour into horticulture.

Our parent company Strawberry Fields was established in 1987 right here in the mighty Waikato, and we’ve been growing berries for decades. We fell in love with the lifestyle and three generations down the line, opened Whatawhata Berry Farm as a way to share this experience. To create a space where families and friends can connect and make sweet summer memories.

We strive to deliver fantastic berries, great memories, and a whole lot of fun!

Our core focus is you, the customer. Your experience is our priority and we hope after every visit, you leave with pockets full of berries (not literally) and smiles from ear to ear.

Whether it's a family outing while the sun's shining, a quick pop in for a real-fruit ice-cream or your weekly stocking of the juiciest berries in Hamilton, we have you covered. We look forward to seeing you there and trust you’ll thoroughly enjoy your time at Whatawhata Berry Farm.
On behalf of the WBF team, we thank you for supporting us!
