Where it all started
Our journey growing strawberries began in 1987 right here in the heart of the mighty Waikato. Backed by decades of experience, we cultivated a love for this walk of life. We hope to share our artisan craft of growing the tastiest, juiciest berries in New Zealand and to create a space to be enjoyed by all.

Cool place for all ages. Sweetest strawberries ever. Play areas for kids with lots of different activities and even bean bags to enjoy delicious ice creams to finish off a fun afternoon.

I visited Whatawhata Berry Farm during the holidays and the place is amazing to visit with kids, family, or even just with other adults. The ice cream cones are tastey and the berries are the best!
Beautiful setting, large outdoor area for kids to play. The strawberries are delicious! It's also the home of the gigantic jandals!
